With his vision clear, DJ Screw got to work. He started by selecting a catchy beat from one of his favorite G-Funk tracks. He then proceeded to slow it down, adding his signature chopped and screwed effects. As the track began to take shape, he added sound effects - the revving of engines, the screeching of tires, and snippets of conversations from the streets.
