Ben Affleck plays Jack Carter, a CIA exfiltration expert who concocts the plan. He recruits a team of experts, including a tech expert, a makeup artist, and a Canadian filmmaker, to create fake identities for the six Americans. The team, which includes CIA agent Alan Donaffon (John Goodman) and Canadian filmmaker Kevin Harkness (Martin Sheen), works tirelessly to prepare the six Americans for their escape.
