Saw III picks up where the second film left off, with Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) still at large, and his apprentice, Amanda Young (Shawnee Smith), trying to carry on his work. The story follows Jeff Denlon (Angus Macfadyen), a man who sets out to find Jigsaw to avenge his son's death. Unbeknownst to Jeff, he is being manipulated by Amanda, who is trying to take Jigsaw's place as the mastermind behind the deadly games.
