The film picks up where Spider-Man: Far From Home left off, with Peter Parker's identity as Spider-Man revealed to the public. Desperate to fix the situation, Peter seeks the help of Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), who attempts to cast a spell to erase the public's memory of Peter's identity. However, the spell goes awry, opening up the multiverse and allowing villains from different universes to enter the MCU.
